Genuine, natural, untreated Khotan Mutton Fat Jade and Burmese (Myanmar) Jadeite Jade gemstone earrings in 14k gold fill. I kept the design simple because these earrings are all about the Jade gemstone.
The Jade I used is Type A and is from a reputable UK source who worked directly with Sally Hua to find this amazing Jade gemstone for the UK market- it is genuine and has no treatments.
Each Jade is different and your pair of earrings might look slightly different. See photos 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the currently available selection.
Khotan Mutton Fat Jade and Burmese Jadeite 14k gold filled threader earrings
• Jade gemstones are Khotan Mutton Fat Nephrite Jade and are at least 3 carats each measuring ~ 8mm diameter
Burmese Jadeite is ~ 10mm
• Drop ~ 3.7 cm; ~ 1 1/2"
• 14k Gold Filled threader ear fittings and components
14k Gold Fill ('14k gold-filled' or ' 14k rolled gold') means that at least 5% or 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight is gold of 14k quality. The layer of gold is bonded onto a base metal (today it is invariably brass). Gold Fill is thicker and much more durable than gold plating (which usually has under 0.05% gold content). Ear fittings have a quality stamp "1/20 14k".
